Some events may include alcohol-related elements such as beverage planning, bar setup guidance, bartender staffing coordination, cocktail presentation, vendor coordination, guest experience planning, or responsible beverage service support. Bartelini and BWBAY LLC do not operate as a liquor store, alcohol retailer, alcohol distributor, licensed caterer, or alcohol transportation company. We do not sell, purchase, transport, store, or deliver alcoholic beverages unless such activity is expressly permitted by applicable law and handled through a properly licensed venue, caterer, retailer, or alcohol provider. All alcohol-related services are subject to applicable federal, state, city, and local laws, including but not limited to the New Jersey Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control, the New York State Liquor Authority, New York City rules, venue policies, and any applicable permit or licensing requirements. This policy is designed to support safe, responsible, and compliant event experiences.
1. Legal Drinking Age Requirement
The legal drinking age in New Jersey and New York is 21. By booking or using our services for any event involving alcoholic beverages, the client confirms that all guests consuming alcohol will be 21 or older, that all alcohol will be legally purchased and provided by the client, venue, licensed vendor, or authorized alcohol provider, and that the event will comply with all applicable alcohol laws, venue rules, and responsible service procedures. Bartelini reserves the right to request valid identification and to refuse or stop alcohol-related service if underage drinking, intoxication, unsafe behavior, or non-compliance is suspected.
2. No Alcohol Sales, Purchase, Transportation, or Storage
Bartelini and BWBAY LLC do not sell, purchase, transport, store, deliver, broker, or distribute alcoholic beverages, and do not provide a liquor license or permit for any event. All alcohol must be legally provided by the client, venue, licensed caterer, licensed retailer, or another authorized alcohol provider. If alcohol is part of an event, the client is responsible for confirming that all purchase, delivery, licensing, permitting, and venue requirements are lawful and properly arranged for the specific event location.
3. New Jersey, New York & New York City Compliance
Alcohol-related requirements may vary by state, city, municipality, venue, event format, and whether the event is private, public, ticketed, sponsored, or hosted at a licensed location. For events in New Jersey, New York, or New York City, the client, venue, licensed caterer, licensed retailer, or authorized alcohol provider is responsible for securing any required licenses, permits, approvals, insurance, or venue permissions. Bartelini and BWBAY LLC may assist with event coordination, vendor communication, hospitality flow, and beverage planning, but we do not provide alcohol licenses, permits, or legal authorization for alcohol service. We reserve the right to decline, modify, or stop alcohol-related support if the event structure, vendor arrangement, venue approval, or compliance status is unclear.
4. ID Verification & Responsible Service
For events involving alcoholic beverages, Bartelini reserves the right to request valid government-issued photo identification from any guest when age verification is reasonably required. Alcohol-related service may be refused or stopped if a guest cannot provide valid ID, appears under 21, appears intoxicated, presents false identification, attempts to provide alcohol to an underage person, acts in an unsafe or disruptive manner, or violates venue rules or event policies. Any decision to refuse or stop service may be made by Bartelini staff, the event manager, venue, licensed alcohol provider, or responsible host to support safety and legal compliance.
5. Right to Refuse or Stop Alcohol-Related Service
Bartelini and BWBAY LLC reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or stop alcohol-related service or coordination support if underage drinking, intoxication, unsafe behavior, illegal alcohol supply, missing or unclear permits, lack of cooperation with ID checks, or any other compliance concern is suspected. If service is stopped for safety, legal, venue, or compliance reasons, the client remains responsible for all agreed fees, staffing costs, vendor costs, event costs, and related charges unless otherwise stated in the service agreement.
6. Client and Event Organizer Responsibility
The client, host, or event organizer is responsible for ensuring that alcohol is legally obtained, all guests consuming alcohol are 21 or older, any required permits or venue approvals are secured, and the event complies with applicable state, city, municipal, venue, and safety requirements. The client is also responsible for guest conduct, including preventing underage drinking, unsafe alcohol sharing, excessive consumption, and other unlawful or disorderly behavior. Bartelini and D7 Studio may assist with event planning, vendor coordination, hospitality flow, bar setup guidance, guest experience, and responsible service planning, but do not assume legal responsibility for guests, venues, vendors, or alcohol providers.
7. Beverage Planning Assistance
Bartelini may provide beverage planning assistance as part of our event, hospitality, and experience coordination services. This may include guidance on beverage quantities, bar setup, guest flow, cocktail or mocktail menu planning, presentation, non-alcoholic options, responsible service planning, and coordination with venues, caterers, staffing providers, or licensed vendors. This assistance is consultative only. The client is responsible for confirming that all alcohol-related arrangements comply with applicable legal, venue, licensing, insurance, and event-specific requirements.
8. Third-Party Vendors, Venues & Licensed Providers
Some events may involve third-party vendors, venues, caterers, licensed alcohol providers, staffing teams, security, production vendors, or transportation providers. The client is responsible for reviewing, approving, and confirming that any required vendor licenses, insurance, permits, and venue approvals are properly arranged. Bartelini may assist with vendor communication, timing, setup, hospitality flow, and event coordination, but does not become the seller, buyer, broker, carrier, license holder, or legal representative for any alcohol-related vendor or transaction. Bartelini and BWBAY LLC are not responsible for the acts, omissions, licensing, insurance status, service quality, or legal compliance of independent third-party vendors unless expressly agreed in writing.

Bartelini’s services may include event planning, hospitality coordination, staffing coordination, bar setup support, guest experience design, beverage planning, and responsible service support. Unless expressly agreed in writing, Bartelini’s insurance and liability coverage does not extend to the sale, purchase, transportation, storage, illegal service, unpermitted service, or unauthorized supply of alcohol, nor to guest misconduct, venue licensing issues, or third-party vendor violations. Clients are responsible for confirming any required insurance, venue, vendor, alcohol provider, permit, and liability requirements before the event.
10. Indemnification
The client, host, or contracting party agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Bartelini, BWBAY LLC, its owners, employees, contractors, partners, affiliates, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, penalties, losses, or legal costs arising from alcohol-related violations, underage drinking, false identification, guest misconduct, unlawful alcohol supply, missing permits or approvals, vendor or venue non-compliance, or unsafe conduct at the event. Bartelini and BWBAY LLC reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate any alcohol-related service if a legal, safety, licensing, insurance, or compliance concern is identified.
